The facility: +25,000 m2
The headquarter is located in Santa Croce sull'Arno in a newly constructed building of over 25,000 m2 inaugurated in 2009. The production plant is designed to meet the requirements of the new ZDHC and REACH regulations and to promote technical development. The presence of two additional branch offices (Solofra and Arzignano) ensures the group's complete coverage of the national territory.

A spacious warehouses, organized into functional areas, house the finished products. Continuous replenishment of raw materials and the large storage capacity enable a prompt and efficient logistics system, ensuring a continuous availability of products and swift worldwide delivery.

The core of the technological know how is in the finishing and wet-end application laboratories. A large open space where typical tanning processes are daily reproduced. Merging tradition and innovation, both classic and experimental articles are developed, offering the tanning industry increasingly circular and environmentally friendly products.

When the future becomes more demanding, the success of an innovation arises from the meticulous work of the Research and Development department. Within our facility, researchers have access to cutting-edge laboratories equipped with top-level equipment.
The research activities of the gruppo Biokimica encompass a 360-degree approach: studying the specific needs of the customer, developing new products and conducting specific analyses and tests based on international methodologies for the assessment of technical-qualitative characteristics.
Quality Control
One of the key words that characterizes the production process of the Biokimica group is Repeatability. Each batch of incoming raw materials, as well as every produced sample, undergoes strict quality control, certifying compliance with the required parameters.
